Hey nerds! Who has two thumbs, speaks limited French, and hasn't cried once today? *points to self* this moi.

Wow...so um...a year and a half later...YIKES. The back of your head is ridiculous! Anyway... life's pretty decent. Got my associates degree this semester so now I'm transferring to the journalism school at KU. That should be tons of fun. This summer will be one that I can actually enjoy. No class. YEHAW! I'm going back to California in July and then going out to Denver with my mom and grandma to see my aunt, so summer should be sweetness. Been playing some pickup games of basketball with some work friends which is tons of fun. St. Patty's Day tomorrow! We're going bowling to celebrate...lol...dress from head to toe in green. Yes, yes. Ohhhh it's just nice to have a week off from school...it's been killer this semester, 17 hours...AHH.

Oh and a very important thing...I turned 21...HELLS yea. I don't drink that much, although I got sloshed on NYE...shhh don't tell anybody. I only have two shows at the moment now... 30 Rock.....LOVE my 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights....unfortunately I don't think FNL will be back next year :( it's just not getting the ratings it needs to, which is sad 'cause it's such a good show. Well crap, it's like 2:15am and I have to be to work at 8am...hmm procrastinate much? Yes. Go figure I went to bed at 10:30 last night and I didn't have to get up early...now I have to get up early and I go to bed super late. That is fucked up. What is wrong with me?? Oh well...I'll figure that out at a later date...maybe. It's one of those time pending, non-pressing issue...deals.

So I went to Warped Tour yesterday and boy oh boy, was it damn hot! The weather I mean. Well the concert was pretty hoppin' too. I went with my best friend Jen and we rocked the joint, before we passed out, no I'm just kidding, well maybe. Anyway we had a frickin blast! Paramore was our main motivation for going seeing as we both FLOVE their music. We also saw Coheed and Cambria, freakin awesome...the dude's hair is seriously sweet. We checked out Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Rocket Summer, All Time Low, New Found Glory, Sum 41, and a couple others. We standed in line to meet Paramore for only like 30 mins, the line moved pretty fast which was nice since I was being roasted like a chicken. Jeremy was tight, Josh is hot, Hayley rocked, and Zac...well he didn't say anything, lol.

I got fried and then some! Damn...and it hurts, so bad! But it was worth it, Paramore rocked the house. All in all a good day. I did have some unfortunate events occur. During Red Jumpsuit Apparatus I got hit in the face by a flying frisbee that came outta nowhere...my friend kept smacking me in the face with her fan, unintentionally, I think. I got crowd surfed on basically, ya know, kicked in the head, landed on, smacked in the face, all that good stuff. Oh, did I mention I go fried? It was SO HOT! It also didn't help that water was freakin' four bucks a pop. I mean, what the hell is that? I've never had to pay that much for a damn bottle of water. Anyway, I'm extremely exhausted, college started up again today, can you feel my excitement *crickets chirping* *blink, blink* ....right. Bed time.

Blah...so I went to Osage Beach last weekend...oh don't get excited, Osage Beach, MO. Down to the Lake of the Ozarks, but not for a vacation, no no no...to work. Oh and it was mighty fun....*blink* *stare*....fun. Wow, so yeah, it was interesting to put it mildly. Nah, it wasn't too bad though and I made a little extra cash. We had a good time outside of work though. We stayed at this country club hotel and spa which was nice and on the first night we got to stay in one of those villas. The only problem was that we couldn't find where it was...the hotel property is pretty much the size of China and then some. The streets are even labeled...but of course we always ended up back and Racquet Club and Racquet Club...which made it even more of a challenge. BUT about 30 minutes later we eventually found our villa.

Oh and another thing! What is with the street names down there! And the city names! We passed through Tightwad...no joke. Oh and we drove on Duckhead road...Tightwad was the best though, I think on the city sign it said population: 63. So only 63 people can seriously say that they live in Tightwad. Funny.

That trip was an adventure...haha oh and we got pulled over by the cops coming home, but who wants to hear about that? We got let off with a "warning." The cop was nice. Anywho, I'm tired so I'm gonna go watch Sweet Home Alabama and call it a day. Nigh y'all. :)

So I've had Carrie fever lately...Carrie Underwood that is. I love her music. I love - her music - love it -- love it! I can't wait until her next cd comes out, whenever the hell that is.

Anywho...I'm debating whether or not to go see Kelly Clarkson when she comes to town in July, it's at Kemper so it would be comfortable and inside, both good things. Not sure though, we'll see how much ticket prices are.

Time for bed, spent the entire day at the hospital while my dad was having surgery. I just have one thing to say, those damn waiting rooms are freakin cold! Good night.

I am now in celebratory (don't know if that's a word) mode, now that college is out! Although I am taking summer classes...so the summer break isn't very long. Heck, I won't even get to the official start of summer before I have to start my next round of classes. Eh, oh well, that's life. Not a lot going on, my best friend and I have re-enstated our weekly movie night, Wacky Wednesday as we like to call it. We watch old movies that we have never seen before and only eat junkfood...it's a glorious day it really is.

Speaking of movie night...Gilmore Girls' last episode EVER airs tonight...actually in like three hours. It's so sad. I've watched this show forever, it's a part of me! Corny I know, but still! I'm going to miss it. But Lauren and Alexis have given us seven great years, that I will forever rewatch on dvds for the rest of my life...seriously. Hopefully this is a good send off. I want it to be good, it should be good, it deserves to be good. Enough ranting. I need some food.

Well...today...today was well today. Good ole Friday, TGIF...or whatever. Things are good, school...good...work...eh, good...boy...he's dandy. Everything is just peachy one could say. I know most of you are expecting a "but" BUT, sadly I don't have one to give. I can't wait until summer...road trip! So excited! I'm going with my best friend...yeah we have no idea where we're going but that's 98% of the fun! We'll probably hit up a few concerts along the way because that's how we roll. Oh and check out this killer song we wrote, you all are jealous I know...

So, I fell down the stairs...it hurt a little bit. Okay, it hurt a lot. But I'm doing better now. I have this new intense obsession with Grey's Anatomy. I mean I've watched the show since its inception, but I'm so obsessed with it now, it's kind of ridiculous. Oh well. Not a lot going on in life, college and work, like its always been. Okay I need some pain meds, back is hurting. That's all for now.

Interesting things that happened at work today...

So these were some of the more intriguing things that happened at work today. You know someone will say something and you'll just be like, WTF?

1. A lady was paying for her groceries with a credit card, she kept saying she didn't want cash back, so I said okay, just hit the F4 button where it says "NO." Needless to say she couldn't find the button that was big and said "NO." We were standing there for probably five minutes.

2. A chick shows up in a Renaissance costume (our Renaissance Festival is this weekend) just to see what she would say, I asked her where she was headed. She said the Renaissance Festival, and I said, "oh, that's nice." And then she started babbling about how it's so much more fun if you dress up and go. She didn't work there, no no, she was going as a spectator. She had a halo made out of barbed wire...well at least it looked like barbed wire.

3. This little old man was traveling around in one of those mobile carts they have at grocery stores for people who can't walk very well. Well, this guys cart happened to be quite the squeaky one. The sound it was making was like nails on a chalkboard squeaky. I'm not sure if it was just because he was old or what, but the dude was totally oblivious to it. We were all begging for earmuffs.

4. My manager told me a story about how she was watching "Deal or No Deal" last night with her family and her son told her to call in so they would have a chance to win. A couple hours later, the phone rings. She races across the room to pick up the phone, the caller ID says it's someone from Ohio. She picks up the phone and says hello about 5 gazillion times, no one was on the other end. Her husband told her to give it up already.

5. We were giving away free bread. It doesn't sound exciting, but OH, IT WAS!

6. I told numerous people that I could sit on them today, squash 'em like a bug. It was kind of hilarious, it a sort of weird way.

7. One of our managers that was giving out free bread wasn't paying attention and stepped in a pile of goop...gobbley gook. It was nasty. She had expensive shoes on too. Muahaha! Just kidding, she's nice.

8. One of my returning customers came by today, I call him "Double brown bag, penny squeezing, coupon saver man" he's actually a nice guy.

9. I bought an Eclair when I was on break today...boy are those things are good, but they make you wanna throw up at the same time.

10. I was held after work for an entire four minutes. Bastards!

So that was my eventful day. Now I'm exhausted and cranky and really just want to sleep. My precious little bundles of joy are coming over tomorrow evening! My niece and nephew! I call my niece "chunky monkey" or "rollie pollie" she's such a little porker, but so darn cute! Oh and my nephew, he is just the cutest little boy! He just makes me smile! They both do! Anyway, I'm pooped, I'm going to lay down.

WOW! Have I not updated in a long time! Let's see February to dlksj...sdkfj..ssdsfe...August! I've been a busy little bee. Let's see how quickly I can recap the last six months. I worked my butt off with a trainer from November 2005 to March 2006 all to have it wasted away by being sick. I had a viral infection that settled into my back muscles. I was sick for two and a half weeks. My grandpa passed away...I went to his funeral. I quit my high school soccer team because I was fed up with all of it's baggage. I graduated...not a shocker there. My dad was in the hospital for a week (ICU for half of it), he missed my graduation. My brother's fiancee had their twins in June, a girl and a boy. I got a job after putting in 3829833323 applications. Now college is about to start and I'm finally beginning to feel normal again. So that's the past six months in a nutshell. Whew...that was a fun entry! Until next time...(that could be six months from now).

The season is upon us

Well, let's see here...school's still rolling along, unfortunately. I'm really sick of school, but I have a 5 day weekend so it's all good. Soccer season starts in pretty much a week, week and a half. So that's exciting. Went to Lawrence last Friday, that was an interesting trip I must say. Jen was driving that's all I have to say. But me and Katie rocked out (and sang might I add) to Boondocks! We got lost driving around the campus because it's pretty much all one way streets, and we just had to go by and check out the sorority houses, mega huge let me tell you. So yeah, that's how we got lost.

That's about it, been going to the gym regularly and getting buff and all of that good stuff. Except I dropped a medicine ball on my face yesterday, that hurt just a tad, but I recovered. I decided to clean out my closet today, whew was that fun! <---sarcasm. But I was really starting to get scared that my mom would walk in my closet someday when I'm not home and then bitch me out for it being all messy. Well that's not gonna happen now! Okay, gotta go finish getting ready peace out!

Well, I just realized how much time has passed since my last entry. I didn't actually count the days but it's been almost a month, whoops! So it's January now, I've turned 18 and life as it seems is okay. There have been good days and of course bad days, and then there are those days when I just really want to be the crap out of somebody, but I refrain from doing so. I've been hanging out with Jen lately...we went to the KU women's bball game last Sunday, they lost, not a shocker. I love going to Allen Fieldhouse though, it's such a great place. I think I'm getting sick, so I'm really not too happy about that. Oh, I gave blood yesterday, because I am just a generous person you might say. It all went pretty smooth this time. The guy that was doing it actually stuck the needle in my vein this time, so I was done in about 10 minutes maybe even less. The time when I gave blood before, it took like 30 minutes for me to give a pint, the lady didn't really hit my vein, but I was like, you're not sticking me again! Anyway so I got done giving and then the guy goes to take the needle out of my arm, and he rips it out! I about screamed, but I contained myself. It hurt like a, you know what. So that was fun...good story I know. Like I said, I'm not feeling well, so I'm going to go to bed, and I have a math test bright and early tomorrow morning, yay for me.

Oh by the by, new header. I like this one. It's of one of my favorite country groups, Little Big Town. If you haven't ever listened to them they are quite good. Their cd "The Road to Here" is really great...so if you like country go out and buy it. All right, and as they say on Weekend Update (SNL) good night and have a pleasant tommorrow!

Well I discovered some new music, well it's not really new, say to the music industry but it's new to me I suppose. I've discovered Depeche Mode...they're pretty awesome. I heard them via Alias, I gotta say Alias picks some pretty kick ass music for the show. I love their music selection for each episode, and Michael Giacchino is a freaking amazing composer. Anyway, not too much going on, I'm still keeping up with my personal trainer, and that's been going good...it's starting to get somewhat easier. Um, Alias is on hiatus until like March or April...that makes me sad, and I'm even more sad because this is it's last season. Tear. I'm sad. Seriously. Christmas is this coming Sunday, I can't believe it's almost 2006, it's weird. I graduate in like 5 months, freaky!

I don't know anything else, Days sucks as usual so my daytime TV is crap. I'm still working, even thought it's only like one day a week, sheesh! Got my Christmas shopping done, some over the internet, it's an amazing thing, especially if you hate shopping during the holidays. It doesn't really bother me too much, I guess. Anyway, I need something to drink. Wow, I've been like ten thousand times more thirsty since I gave up pop, which was approximately 2 1/2 - 3 months ago. Yay for me. So yeah, I've been drinking a lot of water, actually water has been the only thing that I've been drinking...and so I have to go to the bathroom like 90 times a day, it's not very accomodating, I guess is what I'm trying to say. Okay, I'm done, gotta go watch Dave or Jay actually I prefer Conan but he doesn't come on until 11:30.

That was my Christmas jingle for the day, as it pertains to my life. Fascinating I know. Try to contain yourselves. Still haven't put up the Christmas tree yet, what's wrong with my family? Anyway, we really did get close to a foot of snow yesterday, it was quite exciting I must say. Not much going on lately, just work and school basically. I have no money, my Christmas presents for my family aren't going to be too spectacular let me tell you.

I think it's time for a change...of header that is...we need to put up a christmasy theme i believe. I need to get to work on that. Sheesh, behind in my Christmas festivities already!

Wow do I suck at updating! Ha, well anyway, Thanksgiving was awesome. Went to the G-parents for a couple days way out in Garden City, Kansas YEEHAWWW! It actually didn't start smelling like feedlots until the day we left...so that was a plus. Ugh, back to school tomorrow...for a couple weeks...then it's CHRISTMAS BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay gotta go to bed...that was a very vague entry, eh, oh well.

Wow, I haven't updated in awhile! Been busy I suppose! Work and more work, and some school, those are the things that I've been doing of late. School's about as exciting as school can get...hint of sarcasm...haha. Um so far this TV season my shows have been pretty good. I'm actually liking how Alias is going this year, except for them killing Vaughn! That was a big NO-NO in my book! Anyway, he's supposed to be back later this season. So yeah, Alias is pretty good. I LOVE COMMANDER IN CHIEF! That is seriously my new favorite show! Oh my gosh, it's so awesome, empowering women! I love it! I love that she out does Templeton (her speaker of the house) he's a craphead. Love that show! Gilmore Girls, still lovin it, I usually have to tape it, but what I've seen so far has been pretty decent, I wish there was some more Luke & Lorelai interaction, but with the whole Rory-Lorelai stand off it's a little difficult. OOh! Desperate Housewives has been fabulous! I love Gabby and Carlos, haha him being in jail and her visiting, it's hilarious! I love Lynette though, and Edie, Edie just cracks me up! Especially since she's on crutches right now because Susan accidently backed over her with her car!

That's about all I've got to say, I'm going to see our school play "Peter Pan" Saturday night. It's supposed to be really good so we shall see. Then I may be going up to Washburn with Jen, not sure yet though. Oh check out my new header haha, it makes me laugh. You gotta love Karen! I love Will & Grace! Welp, that's all folks!

Ha! So I had to make another new header, why? Um I don't know, maybe because I'm obsessed with Alias although currently very angry at JJ Abrams for killing off Vaughn. Anyway, I've put that behind me. So yup, not much to say, I get a day off from school tomorrow yay! UM, work tomorrow though, sucks, but hey gotta pay the bills, haha I don't have really any, but I have to pay for gas, *CHOKE* oh boy, I paid $40 to fill up my tank this past weekend. Ouch, it hurt. Well, that's about it, OH my gosh, Desperate Housewives was freaking hilarious last night, wow that show is awesome, what can I say! I love EDIE! I'm hungry, so I'll be going now.

Oh and sometime last week or the week before, I bought seasons 2 and 3 of Will & Grace, one of which I am watching right now. YIPPEE! I love 'em, I love this show, it makes me laugh so hard! Okay, yeah I had to add that little tidbit in.

Anyway...not a lot going on lately been busy with work and school. Work tomorrow 10am-3pm, not too bad, then probably watchin the Chiefs game at 3:15, hopefully they'll win. Um, been busy watching my shows, the fall season is upon us...gosh it's October already. Before you know it, it'll be Thanksgiving, and then Christmas! Time flies. So my TV shows, wow I'm loaded this year, let's see we have Cold Case, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Boston Legal, Gilmore Girls, Commander in Chief, According to Jim, CSI: Miami, NCIS, Lost, CSI, Alias, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, NUMB3RS, I've kinda been watching Threshold, it's kinda weird. I think that's it...I don't know, it's a lot! Anyway that's about it.

Can I just say how incredibly awesome Nitza is? She designed this whole little layout that I absouletly love, well minus the header 'cause that came from the craftyness of my pretty pretty hands! It's amazing, wow, I'm like in love with it. So yeah, schools good I suppose, I've got good grades so far. Oh my gosh, I tried running the other day, because I'm sorely out of shape and wow, I was sore for like 90 million days. I felt like a 93 year old woman with artheritis in the hips. It was bad, haha. Anyway I work tomorrow, ew, and ugh, my manager made me come in at 8am this morning, was not happy about that. I have to go in earlier tomorrow too, it blows. But it's money so I guess I can't complain...but I still will. Gotta go to bed, I hate that I don't have weekends off, it bites my butt. Goodnight. Oh side note...GG premiere was AWESOME! I LOVE THAT SHOW! CSI AND WITHOUT A TRACE PREMIERES NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!

Okay as you can tell by the freakishly new header...that I'm way excited for season 5 of Alias, WOO (<---that's me jumping up and down). Anyway I'm thinkin maybe I'll do like a header of the week thing...although this week's should really be Gilmore Girls...since the season premiere is tomorrow. Hmm...maybe I should switch that. Alias doesn't start until the 29th, but I'm oober excited...eh, we'll make a Gilmore Girls one to display this week, then next week will be CSI...maybe...and then the following will be my fantabulous Alias header! I can't wait! I've got so many shows to watch and so little time, how am I gonna manage...easy...tape record. I've got it under control...at least I hope I do. Well I'm off to make my GG header to commemorate tomorrow's PREMIERE!!!!!!!!!!! So excited for that one too!
